About

We believe there’s another way to help the people we love age well.

A way to stay close, support independence, and create a home that works for the next chapter.

Our Purpose.

We believe there’s a better way to help our parents live their senior years.

Today, most families caring for aging parents feel stuck between two extremes: stay in a home that no longer fits their needs and hope to qualify for Medicare or Medicaid or pay out of pocket for a continuum of care starting with independent living, which can run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars over five to seven years.

Like many families, we’ve navigated this exact challenge with our own parents, and it led us to start exploring solutions for what’s known in the industry as the “missing middle” of senior housing.

We not only have a housing crisis in the US today, we have a senior care crisis facing.

As the number of older Americans is set to outpace children for the first time in the nation’s history within the next decade, the housing market is fixed-income seniors squeezed by a crisis of affordability, accessibility, and availability all at once. How do you help someone you love stay safe without making them feel like they’ve lost their independence? What happens when their home becomes harder to navigate, but they’re not ready to leave it? And how do you help your parents afford senior care?

We wanted to create an innovative asset that solves all of these problems.

A real home. Close to family. Affordable, and designed for the independent plus senior years.

That’s why we created Halo Senior Homes

My career has spanned across residential and retail development with projects stretching from the West Coast to the Southeast. Alongside that work, I’ve had the privilege of helping nonprofit organizations fulfill their potential and partnering with families to build lasting relationships through experiential outdoor programs.

After witnessing the very real challenges of aging parents, I saw an opportunity to bring an innovative and affordable solution to the market: one built to fill the missing middle in the senior housing space.

Most importantly, I believe that single seniors who can age close to family live more fulfilled lives.

I’ve spent much of my career building businesses, developing relationships, and looking for better ways to solve real-world problems. Today, I’m focused on a challenge that’s becoming increasingly important to millions of families: how do we help people continue living safely, comfortably, and independently at home as they age?

For many families, the only two options are moving their Mom or Dad into a traditional senior living environment or making modifications to their existing home. Now, there’s another option. I’m working on an innovative approach to aging at home that brings together universally designed living spaces, modern technology, and practical solutions built around the needs of single seniors and their families.

I believe we’re entering an important new chapter in how America thinks about aging. People are living longer and traditional senior living isn’t the right fit nor is it affordable for everyone. My career spans hospitality, events, residential services, business development, and entrepreneurship. I’ve always enjoyed spotting opportunities, building relationships, creating great experiences, and turning ideas into businesses people value. Now I’m applying that experience to something much bigger than a business opportunity helping single seniors live better, and helping families have better choices.
